That is not a secret that Apple is one of the most powerful forces on the contemporary market, not only in the field of touch screens, but in general as well. Going against Apple means having one of the most powerful enemies no one would choose to have unless this rivalry could really benefit them, as being an opposition to the higher and mighty power Apple has presented itself over latest years. Now with winning the special Patent for translating the documents, scaling and rotating them on the touch screen of your device.
Apple’s rivals would probably think twice before crossing the road to them again. Samsung, Google, HTC and Nokia – all the most the others on the market of touch screens should really consider their strategy in terms of not conflicting with Apple after getting this Patent from United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Of course, that means that intellectual property war is just starting, but it might really hold off Samsung and Google (Android and Windows Mobile that greatly depend on touch screen technology) filing motions against Apple now. Some might ask how that is possible to gain a Patent on something that is so evident and clear to everyone, who once held the device in their hands. The answer is quite simple, long time before when Apple has introduced their first iPhone in 2007 it was something innovational and new, never seen before, so all the rights just belong to Apple, like it or not, that is the verdict of the United States Patent and Trademark Office that has been released not so long ago. Not only it would make the situation a lot tense, Apple could start their attack now. Whether it could happen or not, the time will only show!
